How to Get the Highest Discount of Airplane Ticket in China

Today, I fly from Beijing back to Xiamen. And I got a 20% off airplane ticket for this trip. Most of the people tell me that it would be impossible to get a discount before important holidays in China. But fact is not as the same as what they think.

Now, let me tell you the secret of getting the highest discount. You must keep in mind that the good discount can only be given one day before the flight. The night before the flight will be the time for the highest discount to appear. Usually, the airplane ticket agent is not working at that time. But do not worry about it, you can order the ticket from websites, such as Ctrip.com and Yoee.com. You can order the electronic ticket and pay through credit card online. And you don’t even have to get the hardcopy of the ticket, since going to the airport and get the boarding passport will be much convenient for you.

I will take my experience for example. Before 28th Sep, no discounted ticket for 29th was shown. But on the morning of 28th Sep, out of 6 flights from Beijing to Xiamen, 4 of them were granting discount. Among these 4 flights, three were in the morning, and one was late into the night. At noon, I found the night flight was granting 25% off. But I was not sure whether I can tomorrow since the work for me had not been done. Two hours late, that 25% off went off. I decided to wait. Around 6, my work was done and I look up the discount in Yoee.com and find a 25% off was granting the earliest morning flight. But this discount was not shown in Ctrip.com. Ten minutes later, Ctrip.com showed that discount. I quickly booked it up through Ctrip.com. And I believe that Yoee.com’s data for flight tickets are the most updated. Late into the night, I look up the tickets again and find a 30% was granted to the flight that I would take. I am a little bit regret. If I could keep waiting longer, I would save more money.

My moral quality had such a big problem yesterday. When I went out, I got jammed up in the traffic on the bus. It moves a five-minute-walk distance for 40 minutes. I had to get off the bus and went back to my home for my bicycle. When I jumped on my bicycle, I was astonished that my MP3 player's battery cover was missed. Sigh.

I finally safely arrived at my office. Turnning on the computer but it stopped working gave me another shock. It must be something wrong with the main board. I had to call the seller of this computer and ask him to fix it. 420 RMB was the cost for a new main board.

My RenPin did have a WenTi yesterday. We just call it RPWT in short. I do wish the bad luck will be on me for only one day. Good luck for tomorrow's me.

An Important Judgment on Indian Antidumping

Last week, our Indian cooperative lawyer sent us an Indian Supreme Court Judgment on the calculation of Non-injury Price in antidumping investigation. This one can be called a milestone. It has a great influence on Indian antidumping investigation procedure.

One important decision is that the DA(Designated Authority) had `clearly erred in law' by determining injury and computing NIP(Non-injurious Price) for a particular company or enterprise, instead of the domestic industry as a whole. "The approach adopted by the DA, in our opinion, will lead to a situation where an artificial discrimination will be created between the integrated and non-integrated companies to the peril of the smaller plants with no backward integration (that is, a factory which also produces its own raw materials, etc)," reasoned the court.

The other one is that the calculation of NIP should not be kept confidential and not disclosed to interest party.

In the past, when dealing with Indian antidumping investigation, we are always headache with the confidential problem. Piles of information have been kept as confidential, especially the calculation of Export Price, Normal Value, Non-injurious Price, Landed Value. Without knowing these information, how can we argue any mistake in the calculation which might leads to a wrong antidumping duty?

Actually, the calculation of NIP has been used as a secret weapon by the DA's officiers. I have to say that India is a country full of corruption. The corruption there is quite different from what is in China. The Indian officers will directly ask for money. But in China, the government officers would not directly ask for that. They will express themselves in a more implicit way. The calculation of NIP is the way for DA officers to give a good result to those companies who bribe them. And the calculation has been kept confidential so that no evidence will be held by any interest parties who might challenge the DA officers.

I am glad that India is also walking in the same way for adminstrating the country in a legal way as what China is doing. Sunshine will be the best antiseptic.

New Season of Prison Break

After a heavy work on the bar exam, I can resume watching the Season 2 of Prison Break. How excited it is.

At the end of last season, the team successfully broke through the Fox River. But unfortunately, DB Cooper was shot dead. And the treasure of that Hijack is the key in the first 5 EPs of the new season.

A very clever FBI agent, named Mahone, is in charge of chasing the 8 PBer. He has such a high intelligence as good as Michael Scofield. He knows that the tattoo on MS is the map of Fox River and also some information for escaping. He successfully restores MS' hard disk and find the information that MS gathered before he goes to Fox River. He understands John Abruzzi's shortcoming is Fibonacci. Agent Mahone uses a cunning trick by saying that Fibonacci will testify in court again. When John Abruzzi hears this, he goes to the motel where it is said that Fibonacci is in for revenge. Mahone get him and John refuses to surrender and finally shot down by the police. MS and Mahone who is more clever, let's wait and see. And, I have seen his taking some strange medicine several times. I guess may be he share the same disease like MS.

The actor of Mahone is William Edward Fichtner. The first movie I saw him is in Contact, in which he is Dr. Kent Clark. I also see him in the movie of The Perfect Storm, Pearl Harbor, Black Hawk Down, Crash, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and Ultraviolet. In the movie, he is not the No.1 actor. I watched the TV series of Invasion this year. He is a Sheriff Tom Underlay in that. From that series I started to get a deep known on him. Sheriff Tom Underlay deeply touched me.

All right, let get back to PB. In this new season, the clue is seperated into several tracks. Different people fight through different ways to get DB Cooper's $ 5 millinon. It seems to be a little bit loose than last season. Whatever, this is still a very good TV series.

Back Alive

After 11 days hard working on the bar exam, I finally come back to work this monday. I can not explain how difficult these 11 days are.

Three Subjects and More

From 7:30am to 9:30pm, I spend about 12.5 hours to review the Commercial Law, Economic Law and IP Law. 86 pages witness my hard working. But I am not satisfied with the result. According to this speed, I can only review all the important test points for once by Friday, which I think is not enough. I should speed up. I will go on for Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Law. If they can be done before I go to bed, it will be a great success.

Busy Preparing

Four days ago, I came back from Nanjing and started my last 9 days preparation for my bar exam. I feel a little bit tired today. Reviewing the Law Theory and the Histroy of Law is quite boring. But I finished it.

Tomorrow, I should start a whole new round for all the important testing points. It is only 5 days remained. I can make it through and pass the exam. Yes, I can!

这两天的经历让我更加厌恶印度人。好歹也是社会高层的官员，居然公然向被调查的企业要求叫小姐、主动索贿……表面上道貌岸然，核查的时候装作很严格，下来之后就换成另外一副嘴脸。还TNND专门在上海买伟哥，性玩具……而且居然让被调查企业掏钱！！！也不嫌丢人！！！

要强烈表扬南京的性服务者。碰到这样的鬼印度人，咱就是不出台！！！

重庆的性服务者，你们也要有民族气节呀！！！

我还要诅咒他们吃了伟哥之后，诱发心血管疾病，最好心脏病突发死掉！！！或者找小姐的时候被抓住，让丫的使馆过来保他们！！！

Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum & etc

Thanks to my client's great efforts in preparing the documents, my colleague and I can have a quick sight-seeing in Nanjing.

We first drop in Dr. Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum. I have been eagering to show my respect to Dr. Sun Yat-Sen. He is a great people in Chinese history, the Father of the Nation. I stepped up the 480-meter-long and 50-meter-wide stairway which has 392 stairs. On both sides, pine, cypress, and gingko trees guard the way. A feeling of deeply respect to the history flowered in my heart.

In the sacrificial hall, I looked quietly at Dr. Sun's sitting statue. The histroy flashed back in my memory. He is a great man.

We also visited Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum. Here is the tomb for Zhu Yuanzhang, the first emperor of Ming Dynasty. It is hard to explain how big the tomb is. And it is said that Zhu Yuanzhang erected the system for Emperor Family's Tomb system. I also heard that the entrance to his tomb has been idenfied by using remote sensing technology. Though it has been identified, the government would prefer not to open it.


Stepping down the hill, I looked up and find the nightfall sky was quite beutiful. I quickly took it in my DC.

If it is true, this Nanjing Company should be respected.

I arrived at Nanjing today. So many trees beside the roads remind me this is southern city. Smelling the wet air bring my thinking back to Xiamen. I wish I can be at the sweet sweet home.

After taking some traditional Nanjing snack, I discuss two India case officers who will conduct the on-site verification here with our clients. I was told that one of them might be a corrupted official. Our client says, if them ask for something beyond acceptable line, we would definitely refuse. This is the most powerful sentence I hear in these two weeks. I do hope this can be true.

I wish I can finish the works in half day, so that I can visit Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum.

A Quick Sight-seeing in Kaifeng

This wednesday, I took a quick sight-seeing in Kaifeng after the heavy work. We just took pictures before some famous spots. The picture on the left is Kaifeng Fu, the local government of Kaifeng in Song Dynasty. It's a little pitty that small rain falled down that day, some of the buildings are not so clear to be seen.

We also had a very good meal in a local restaurant which serves Lamb Soup. This should be the best lamb soup I have ever taken.

Today, I finish the work in Tianjin. I really want to have a good sleep in my bed. I miss my doggy home. But I should mention that the bed in Sheraton is the best one in the hotels.
